ELIZABETH "BETTY" GRAFFY

HANOVER PARK - Elizabeth "Betty" Graffy, (nee Salzman), 84, a longtime resident of Hanover Park, recently of Bartlett, was the beloved wife of 62 years to the recently departed Charles "Chick" Graffy; devoted mother of Don (Martha), Jeanne (Guy) Grassmick, Mike, Joyce (Greg) Brown, Ken (Susan), and Liz (Jim) Kopitke; cherished grandmother of nine; loving great-grandmother of six; dear sister of John Salzman and Don (Roberta) Salzman. She was preceded in death by her beloved parents, Bernard and Winifred; and sister, Joan (Joseph) Ricciuti. Betty was a homemaker whose great joys were meeting and talking with people and watching her children and grandchildren pursue their interests and raise their families. Visitation is from 4:00 to 8:00 p.m. Wednesday, October 5, at Ahlgrim & Sons Funeral and Cremation Services, 330 W. Golf Road, Schaumburg. A funeral mass at 11:30 a.m. Thursday, October 6, at St. Marcelline Catholic Church, Schaumburg, will be followed by private burial.
