I met Gary in Las Vegas in the summer of 1994. We work together at a company called AMR services. This is not ambulance company. They were a division of American Airlines back then. We both worked on the ramp at that time later on I went to United Airlines and not long after he came to. He always brighten my day and he definitely love to cook. I remember one morning he was off and I had to work so I would stop by his house for what became known as Sunday morning breakfast. I would leave there so full I didn´t want to go to work but to sleep. We had many stories together. Unfortunately life happens after moved away we lost track of each other and when I heard he passed away from a mutual friend I was saddened. He was a great man with a great sense of humor. I won´t forget him

Hello, I´ve been searching forever for decent attentive Attorney. The next day I received an email from whom I thought was Mr Carlin. Just now I was reading his page (online) to discover his passing. I felt a chill as an indicator/directive to continue my quest with Mr Gary Carlin & associates.
I say this with much respect and sincerity just by knowing what I´ve read thus far.
My regards to his family & staff.

It's almost Memorial Day 2021, and of course thoughts of Gary and his amazing BBQ's were the topic of conversation today! We miss Gary's great sense of humor, and the parties we would have at work on the holidays. I'm sure he and Patty are throwing the best BBQ's in Heaven now, but they're still in our thoughts & prayers here on earth!

My coworkers at SkyWest we’re just talking about him the other day. I’m so sad to hear about his passing. He always had a smile on his face and was friendly to all. Every year we had friendly bets over the Bears and Green Bay games. Sadly he always won! RIP Gary.

I'm so sorry and saddened to hear of Gary's passing! I spent 9 years working with Gary at O'Hare. We always shared a laugh, a handshake, and a smile. This is a man who made everyone's day a little bit brighter just by being himself. As a co-worker and a friend, you'll be sorely missed Trouble. God speed and tailwinds my friend.

Cherish many memories of Gary from our highschool days. My favorite is when he got a flat tire taking me gome from a school dance. I remember him so scared of the trouble he was going to be in with my parent for bringing me home late ... he wasn't. My parents loved him! Everyone did! He will be greatly missed by many. ❤

I am very sad to hear of Gary's passing. Gary and I worked together for years at United, I retired in 2017. My memories of Gary are with a smile on his face. Coworkers used to rave about his cooking. No doubt he'll be missed. -Jil Ross

My condolences to the family. Gary was a polite, sweet & generous guy. When he would come to visit Patricia he would usually throw at least one BBQ of epic proportions. Now he & Patricia are hosting epic BBQ's in Heaven. He will be missed by all who knew him.

Generosity and Hospitality, the first thoughts that came to mind when I got word of Garys passing. Gary would have us over for many bbqs and we would work on projects and tinker with vehicles and have a couple cocktails as we enjoyed the fellowship. When Patty would come to visit They would come to visit me at my restaurant and I would do me best to show her that we could make an old fashioned in Chicago just as good as the neighbors to the north. I could never imagine that are last time together would be celebrating Pattys life. I share a favorite moment from that day in the picture below. Gary was loved by so many and Im so honored to have had the opportunity to have him as a neighbor and friend. Peace to the memory of our dear friend.
