Josephine Witek Obituary

Josephine C. Witek of Mundelein A Mass of Christian Burial for Josephine C. Witek, 88, will be held at 10 a.m. today, at Santa Maria del Popolo Chapel. Born June 4, 1913, in Chicago, she died Wednesday, May 22, 2002, at Condell Medical Center. Interment will be in Maryhill Cemetery. Josephine is survived by her children, Mitchell Jr. (Janet) Witek of Lake Villa, Frances Rickert of Mundelein, Elaine Byrne of St. Paul, Minn., and Dorothy Fincher of Mundelein; sisters, Agnes (Hank) Wilgotski of Chicago and Evelyn (Casey) Marks of Schaumburg; 15 grandchildren; 39 great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Mitchell Witek Sr. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the American Heart Association. Arrangements were made by Kristan Funeral Home, P.C.
