To the Pietrowski Family,
My name is Patricia S. Marconi and my husbands name was Robert Marconi a Sigma Phi Delta Fraternity Brother. Robert is no longer with us (deceased 9/15/2006) but I'm sure if he was here he would be very sadden by the lost of your Mother. I ask you to receive these words of condolences as if it was him writing them to you. Our hearts go out to the whole family at this time and hope that the good memories make their way to all your hearts. May God Bless each and everyone in your family. Robert will be waiting with your Dad to meet your Mom.
With Deepest Sympathy

To Pietrowski Family,
My name is Joseph J Rubel Jr and I am a Sigma Phi Delta Fraternity Brother of your late Father. I received my Architectural Degree in the Spring of 1963 and in Summer of 1963 received my Civil Degree from Chicago Technical College. I'm quit sure that both of your parents talked about the Fraternity over the years. They both looked upon the Fraternity as an extension to their family. Many of the brothers were from out of the state so they need the support of someone to watch their P&Q's. I still can remember a few of the holiday family BBQ's that your parents would have and made it a point extend an invitation to the entire Fraternity house to join them. The homemade food was always a treat compared to the house food. Occasionally, I pull out my pictures from my fraternity years and it is always with pleasure and with happiness that the picture helps both my wife & I to remember those years of old. Seeing your parents doing the Polish hop at a Dinner Dinner or supervising the kids games at a SPD picnic is a reminder that they were a very special couple not only to your family but also the Brothers of SIGMA PHI DELTA. Your Mother never missed an opportunity to attend and see her boys and as the years grew on their wives. We all felt that she was our second mother and "Mrs P" quickly became " MOM " by the brothers. Out of respect for your later fathers faculty status he referred to as Mr Pietrowski, even to this day.
The world has lost two very special people in my life and the many Brothers of Sigma Phi Delta - Iota Chapter- Chicago Technical College. They have left their mark on the everyone that they touch throughout their lives,
May God Bless your Mother and your entire family and may the pain from your lost be soften by the joy that she is joining your father to start a new path .
With our deepest sympathy for your lost.
