MARLENE SIMO Obituary

Marlene Simo (nee Stoeckicht), age 83 passed away peacefully after a short illness, surrounded by her family on December 9, 2017. Loving wife of 61 years to Eldred "Al" Simo, loving mother of Michael (Nancy) Simo, Patricia (Michael) Ganey, and Mark (Michele Wojciechowski) Simo, cherished grandmother of Rebecca, Amanda, Matthew, Emily, Brandon, Sean, Ryan, Shea, Joseph, Marina, and James. Loving sister of Herman (Darlene) Stoeckicht, Dorothy (Jerry) Rogala, and Margie (Bill) Hudgins. Fond aunt of many. She was preceded in death by her sister Ruth Ann (James) Bjork, mother Sophie and stepfather Robert Schmidt. Visitation Wednesday 3:00-8:00 p.m. at The Oaks Funeral Home, 1201 E. Irving Park Road (at Prospect), Itasca. Family and friends will meet Thursday for a Lying in State, 9:30 a.m. until the Celebration of the Mass, 10:00 a.m. at Holy Ghost Church, 254 N.
