Maureen Specht Obituary
Maureen Specht, age 79, passed away on Saturday, September 6, 2025.
A funeral mass will be held at St Emily Catholic Church in Mt. Prospect, IL at 10:00am on October 18th, with an interment ceremony immediately following at All Saints Cemetery.
Maureen was born October 17, 1945, in LaSalle, IL. After her education, Maureen embarked on a successful career in banking. A longtime resident of the Chicago area, she lived in Arlington Heights and Palatine for over 60 years. Maureen loved being with family and enjoyed annual vacations in Wisconsin with her fisherman husband and sons. She was a loyal Notre Dame football, Bears and Cubs fan and spent many sunny summer days at Wrigley Field with family and friends. She also was an ardent fan of DWTS and the proud and unrepentant owner of a vicious beast of a Chihuahua named Lola.
Maureen was the beloved wife of Bill; the proud mother of Bill (Barb) and Bob (Nicole); sister to Kevin, Jeanne, Denise, and Patrick; as well as a favorite aunt to many.
