It was a pleasure to meet you, Joe. Your son seemed like an amazing kid and I wish I had the pleasure to meet him as well.

Joe I am really sorry you had to go through this. Having lost a child myself I know how devastating it can be. But the best thing you can do to honor him is to never forget and the best thing for you is to remember that there is one left who needs you and that you are lucky enough to have time left to pay tribute to your son by showing people what he means to you and that you also are the tough and tenacious father I know you are that you will take care of yourself for the job you still have left to do. It's the only thing that kept me going. I miss you guys and your family were a big part of my life growing up and I am very sorry you had to go through this. Would like to talk to you some time. Be strong.

Michaels spirit will radiate through the pain and heartache and live on in all of us forever. He is at peace now and although difficult, it is up to the rest of us to share his memories so he may go on living in our hearts and minds forever. We are thankful for the time that he was in our lives. He will be missed terribly.
