PERRY B. LUBERA

1961 - 2022

Perry B. Lubera was born April 28, 1961 in Chicago, IL. He passed away January 28, 2022. Perry would have been pleased to know how many people he helped with his generous donation to Gift of Hope. Perry was a loyal friend, and very well-respected in his work industry. He was a true family man, spiritual, loving, and always found symbolism in the smallest things. Perry was an avid golfer, and a lover of all sports. Perry always prioritized and valued being present for his daughters. He never missed any of their dance/gymnastics competitions, soccer games, or choir concerts. Perry is survived by his wife of 26 years, Carol; his two daughters, Anna and Grace; his brother, Bill (Nancy) Lubera; his sisters, Chris Frazier and Barbara Wilson; his aunt, Sharon (Marshall) Norris; his mother-in-law, Ingeborg Soens; and his birth father, Bill Wilson. Perry was preceded in death by his mother, Renee S. Weatherford; his adoptive father, Richard Lubera; his sister, Dawn Shafer; and his father-in-law, Richard Soens. Perry was a fond brother-in-law, uncle, and great-uncle to many. Memorial visitation will be Friday, February 4th, from 3 to 9pm at Davenport Family Funeral Home, 941 S. Old Rand Road, Lake Zurich. Funeral mass will be held at 12:30pm Saturday, February 5th, at St. Francis de Sales Catholic Church, 33 S. Buesching Road, Lake Zurich with Father Michael Sparough officiating. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to your charity of choice in Perry's name.
