Dear Marilyn and Family,
I am so sorry of your loss. I have been thinking about Peter since I have moved to Mississippi. He was a great boss and friend at Grohe America, when he hired me for a job in 1985. I can't express my sympathy for you. I wish I could have attended the wake. All my love to the Failla Family

I am so very sad for your family. I knew Peter when he worked at Grohe and I worked for Bank of America. He was truly a very sweet man and I know he will be missed greatly. He always had a smile in his voice and I'm sure he's smiling down on all of you. God bless you all.

I spent time with Pete mostly during our high school years, although when I was very young my father would take me to Pete's family's restaurant on the west side of Chicago. He loved the Beatles, (Pete had one of the first 8-tracks in his black-on-black, meticulously clean Monte Carlo), he loved Bruce Lee movies (Pete took martial arts lessons, not sure how far he went with those), and Pete loved to laugh. I remember him as being friendly towards everyone he met, and it was a pleasure to have known him.

If you were lucky enough to know Pete. You were truly blessed. His personality would always pick me up.
Remembering Great Days with Pete, while growing up in Chicago. The entire Failla Family was highly respected. Thanks for All The Great Memories. Bless You All.

Peter Failla was the first neighbor
we met when we moved onto the block.
The minute my husband Marty would see Peter out front, he would say "I'm just gonna run out and have a quick chat with Pete" that usually lasted an hour or more.Peter always had a friendly hello when we left for work each morning and I will truly miss his beautiful smile and cheery disposition. Our heartfelt sympathy to the family, a wonderful man will be truly missed.
