RICHARD P. DOLCE

Richard P. Dolce 88, of Winfield, formerly of Glen Ellyn and Wheaton, loving husband of nearly 70 years to Mary Ann (Hubler), passed away peacefully on January 15, 2022. He was the beloved father of 6, David (Karen) of Naperville, Dianne (Carl) Skager of Georgetown, Texas, Maureen (Joe) Rooney of Wheaton, Chris (Judy) of Round Rock, TX, Valerie (Mark) Sander of Park Ridge, Jennifer (Charlie) of West Chicago; the revered grandfather of 16; the dear great-grandfather of 13; the adored brother of Lynette (Albert) Sona, and uncle to countless nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his parents, Dorothy (Fendler) and Nicholas M. Dolce. Rich was born and raised in St. Louis, Missouri, attended Washington U and married his sweetheart Mary Ann Hubler in 1952. They began raising their six children in St. Louis until he accepted a corporate relocation in 1969 to the Chicago western suburbs where they continued raising their close-knit family. As a lifelong Catholic, his faith was very important, regularly attending Mass and the sacraments. Above all else, the love of his wife and his family was most important in his life. All are welcome to join the family for visitation on Tuesday, January 18, 3pm-8pm at Williams-Kampp Funeral Home, 430 E. Roosevelt Rd., Wheaton and for the Requiem Funeral Mass held at 10am on Wednesday, January 19, 2022 at St. Mary's Catholic Church, 140 Oakwood, West Chicago, and for the Interment at Assumption Cemetery, Winfield.
