Robert Dompke of Arlington Heights Prayers for Robert Dompke will be said at 9:15 a.m. Wednesday, May 20, at the Glueckert Funeral Home, Ltd., 1520 N. Arlington Heights Road (four blocks south of Palatine Road), Arlington Heights. A Mass will follow at 10 a.m. at St. James Church, 831 N. Arlington Heights Road, Arlington Heights. Interment will be in All Saints Cemetery. Visitation will be from 3 until 9 p.m. Tuesday, May 19, at the funeral home. Born Oct. 20, 1936, in Chicago, to Alex and Margaret (nee Reiner) Dompke, he passed away Friday, May 15, 2009, in Arlington Heights. Robert is survived by his wife, Barbara (nee Berkowski); his sons, Timothy Dompke of Belleville and Steven (Jennifer) Dompke of Lake in the Hills; his grandchildren, Abigayle, Peter, Dakota, Lauren, Kristina and Natalie; many nieces and nephews; and his sister-in-law, Judith Dompke of Las Vegas, Nev. He was preceded in death by his parents and his brother, Ronald Dompke.
