ROBERT G. PLASKY

1947 - 2014

FOX LAKE - Robert G. Plasky, 67, passed away Sunday, February 2, 2014 at Froedtert Hospital in Milwaukee. He was born on January 16, 1947 in Chicago to Robert and Loretta (Makarewicz) Plasky. On December 18, 1971 in Chicago, Robert married Betty Olszewski. He is survived by his loving wife of 42 years, Betty Plasky; son, Dave (Vikki) Plasky; daughter, Laura (Don) Berry; grandchildren, Anthony, Devin, Cody and Ben Plasky, Brittany, Nick and Ashton Berry; great grandson, Cyrus Plasky; brothers, Phil (Ginger) Plasky, Mike (Regina) Plasky; sister, Toni Loncki; brothers-in-law, Bob (Fe) Olszewski, Bernie Olszewski; sisters-in-law, Cheryl (Billy) Weaver, Christine Johnson, Mary Jo Storce; many nieces and nephews and his little girl chihuahua, Hana. He was preceded in death by his parents, sons, Andrew "Ronnie" Olszewski, Jeffrey Plasky; sisters, Patsy Culver, Jackie Garbutt and sister-in-law, Ana Olszewski. Robert was a loving husband, father and loved his grandchildren so much; his nickname was "Trouble." He was a US Navy Veteran. Robert enjoyed fishing, playing cards, doing puzzles, and was an avid Bears and Cubs fan. Visitation is Friday, February 7, 2014 from 4-8 pm at Warren Funeral Home, 1475 N. Cemetery Road, Gurnee.
