ELGIN - Thomas H. Barker, age 77, formerly of Ft. Wayne, Indiana passed away Friday, January 1, 2021 at Delnor Hospital in Geneva. He was born June 29, 1943 in Ft. Wayne, Indiana. For over 40 years, he worked for International Harvester/Navistar. He enjoyed spending time with his family and grandchildren especially at the lake. Tom is survived by two children, Debbie Boor and Shelley (Herb) Quigley; four grandchildren, Justin and Jennifer Boor and Blake and Miranda Quigley; a sister, Ruth Swarzbach; and a brother, William (Patti) Barker. He was preceded in death his wife, Judy in 2016; his mother, Helen Barker; a son-in-law, David Boor; two brothers, Jim and Richard Barker; and a sister, Barb Riley. Visitation will be from 9:00 A.M. to 10:00 A.M. Saturday, at Yurs Funeral Home, St. Charles. Funeral mass will be held 10:30 A.M. Saturday, St. Patrick Crane Road Church, 6N491 Crane Road, St. Charles. Burial will be at Prairie Cemetery, St. Charles.
