William Dapper Obituary

William T. "Bill" Dapper Sr. of Naperville Funeral services for Mr. William T. "Bill" Dapper Sr., 52, will be held at 10:30 a.m. Monday, at the Bethany Lutheran Church, 1550 Modaff Road, Naperville. Born Nov. 24, 1949, in Cape Girardeau, Mo., he died Thursday, Nov. 21, 2002, in Pompano Beach, Fla., as a result of an automobile accident. Interment will be in Chapel Hill Gardens West, Oakbrook Terrace. Mr. Dapper was a self-employed life insurance agent. He was a very active member of Bethany Lutheran Church in Naperville. Bill is survived by his wife, Joanne Dapper (nee Rotermund) of Naperville; sons, Bill, Craig and Alberto, all of Naperville; daughters, Dawn Hughes of Aurora, Tracey (Alex) Iouriev of Aurora, Christine Dapper of Naperville and Katherine (Ben) Gonzales of St. Louis, Mo.; grandchildren, Rachel and Kaela Montes, Hannah Hughes, and Evelyn and Tobias Gonzales; and a sister, Amber Rose (Joseph) Kinney of Indianapolis, Ind. He was preceded in death by his parents, Lawrence and Cecilia (nee Early) Dapper. 1 Thessalonians 4:13-14 Brothers, we do not want you to be ignorant about those who fall asleep, or to grieve like the rest of men, who have no hope. We believe that Jesus died and rose again and so we believe that God will bring with Jesus those who have fallen asleep in him. Visitation will be from 9 a.m. until the time of services at 10:30 a.m. Monday, at the Church. Memorials in Mr. Dapper's name may be made to the Bethany Lutheran Church. I honor my Uncle Bill in this time. He was one the kindest men I ever knew. He was always willing to lend susport when asked. I loved him and hope to honor and carry on the proud standard of life he achived in his short time with us. He is missed and loved by many.
