Gabriel Michael Shropshire, 22, of Munford, Alabama passed away on Thursday, September 2, 2021. Gabe will be remembered as a friend to everyone. He was the friend you call in the middle of the night when you need something. His smile was infectious, he was so laid back and good natured, he would give you the shirt off his back. He loved his family and was always the life of the gathering with his silly nature. Family was really important to him; he was such a good daddy to Ensley and Gabriel and was always playing with them and his nephews. He loved all things outdoors, Kayaking; fishing; working on cars; gardening; 4wheelers, and tending to his animals. Gabe was preceded in death by his grandparents, Hubert and Christine Shropshire; and Lowell and Sue Stephens. He is survived by his parents, Tommy and Kathy Shropshire; mother, Stacy Dyer (Jerry) wife, Katelyn Shropshire; son, Gabriel Michael Shropshire,Jr.; daughter, Ensley Nicole Shropshire; 4 sisters, Jill Lackey (Blake); Mary Cromer (Jerry); Shania Gardiner; Destiny Ives. The family received friends on Sunday, September 5, 2021 from 1:00PM-3:00PM in the Talladega Funeral Home Chapel with the service followed with Bro. Rusty Stephens and Bro. Ronnie Hurst officiating. Pallbearers were Daton Griffin; Cody Wilson; T.J. Robinson; Ryan McNatt; Terry Robinson; and Greg Wilson. Talladega Funeral Home directed the service.
