Robert C. Shropshire Jr.

Robert Christy Shropshire, Jr. - "Chris" - 72, of Pittsgrove, passed away on Saturday, February 28, 2026.

Chris was a graduate of Vineland High School and Cumberland County College, where he earned an Associate of Arts Degree. He had a long career as a machinist, working with R-Way Tooling and Ace Glass, and then owning Christy Glass Machine. He later founded C.C. King Concrete and Masonry Products. In his spare time, he loved hunting and fishing, singing karaoke, and especially being at his camp in Maine looking out at the lake.

Chris was predeceased by his parents, Robert C. and Ruth (nee Gifford) Shropshire, and his sister, Ruth Ann Shropshire. He is survived by his wife, Vicki (nee Mall); his brother, Paul (Beverly); sister-in-law Diane Wolff (Udo); brother-in-law Jack Mall; niece Colleen Snodgrass (Josh); nephew Sean Shropshire (Florentine); and great nieces and nephew, Riley, Piper, Clay, and Adeline.

A celebration of Chris' life will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in his memory to Tunnels to Towers Foundation (t2t.org), St. Jude Children's Research Hospital (stjude.org), or to a charity of your choice.
