Kenneth Patterson Obituary

Mr. Kenneth "Buddy" Ray Patterson, 83, passed away on Saturday, October 25, 2025. Mr. Patterson was a native of Talladega. He joined the Navy where he served for 20 years and then the National Guard for 3 years. He then worked for Anniston Army Depot for 10 years. He enjoyed hunting and fast cars. He was a family man; he loved his children and grandchildren deeply. He is preceded in death by his first wife: Vera Jo Harbin Patterson; his parents: Dennis H. Patterson and Mildred E. Hallman; 2 brothers: Herbert and Gary Moore; 1 sister: Jane Josey. He is survived by his wife: Janet Patterson; 3 sons: Alan Patterson (Dina), Ricky Patterson, Stanley Patterson; 3 daughters: Deborah Porter, Beth Lackey (Bill), Paige Taylor (Dewayne); step-son: Cody Suddeth (Miranda); 1 brother: Joe Patterson; 6 grandchildren: John Ashley Porter (Courtney), Chris Patterson, Josh Jewell (Tori), Amber Patterson, Mark Hester Jr., and Colton Brown; 6 great grandchildren. ~The family will receive friends on Wednesday, October 29, 2025, from 6:00pm-8:00pm in the Talladega Funeral Home Chapel for visitation. The graveside service for Mr. Patterson will be on Thursday, October 30, 2025, at 12:00noon at Midway Memory Gardens with Pastor Andrew Durst officiating. Pallbearers are Alan Patterson, Ricky Patterson, Stanley Patterson, Bill Lackey, Dewayne Taylor, and Josh Jewell. Talladega Funeral Home will direct the service.
