Mark Harris Obituary
Mr. Mark Allen Harris' earthly journey began on September 13, 1965 to the parentage of J.C. Harris and Ruby Holtzclaw Harris in Sylacauga, Alabama.
Mark accepted Christ as his Lord and Savior at an early age and united with Mt. Zion Missionary Baptist Church, Sylacauga, Alabama. He received his education from Sylacauga City School System and graduated from Sylacauga High School. He furthered his education and attended Central Alabama Community College, Childersburg, Alabama.
Mark was a dedicated employee at Avondale Mills, until his health declined.
Mark departed this walk of life on November 11, 2021 at his residence in Sylacauga, Alabama, surrounded by his loving family. He was preceded in death by his parents, J.C. Harris and Ruby H. Harris.
His love will forever be remembered and cherished by his loving siblings, Wayne Harris of Montgomery, AL; Donna (Ernest) H. Dinkins of Mobile, AL; Darryl Harris of Atlanta, GA; and Robin (Stevie) H. McGinnis of Harpersville, AL; a special sister, Lillie Harris; nieces, Jessica, Victoria, Ciara, Catilin, and Brooklyn; nephews, Marcus, Drew, and Jalen; special cousin, Ann (Harold) Looney, and Gregory (Jackie) Holtzclaw; special brothers, Derrick Thomas, Anthony Williams, Maury Grayson; devoted father figure, Robert Averette; special care givers, Jackie Dates and Katrika Wells, special neighbors on Jennifer Avenue, and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
