Billy "Bill" Mosher, 87
In Loving Memory of Billy 'Bill" Mosher, a man who truly wore many hats throughout his life, passed peacefully into the arms of Jesus on March 3, 2026, at his home in
Kalispell, Montana. He was 87 years old.
Bill was born on December 11, 1938, in Oklahoma. His life journey carried him across several states, but wherever he went, he built more than just a home - he built community, friendships, and a legacy of kindness and faith. He spent part of his early years in Woodlake, California, where he graduated high school. In Grass Valley, California, Bill owned and operated Warehouse Paint and Paper, becoming a familiar and trusted face in the community. During that time, he was an active member of Calvary Bible Church and gave his time generously to many charitable organizations. Later, in Roseburg, Oregon, Bill worked at Gerretson Building Supply and attended New Hope Evangelical Free Church, continuing his commitment to both his faith and serving others. Eventually, he made his way to Bigfork, Montana, where he worked at Harding Ready Mix for several years before retiring from Sliters Hardware in 2017.
Bill was a devoted member of Adventure Church in
Kalispell, Montana where he served faithfully as a deacon and a longtime door greeter. Many will remember his warm and welcoming spirit - he had a gift for making people feel seen and valued the moment they walked through the door.
A proud veteran, Bill served in the United States Navy and Naval Reserve. He carried that same sense of duty and quiet strength into every aspect of his life.
Above all else, Bill loved the Lord, and that love shaped the way he lived. His love for his Savior was evident in his marriage to Kay Mosher of 37 years. Every day he showed great love and devotion to her in countless ways. He loved his family deeply and embraced not only the daughters he was given by birth from his marriage - Cybil, Kimberley and Stephanie - but also the daughters he chose in his marriage to Kay - Kimberly and Pamela, Bill never made a distinction between his daughters and proudly shared he had 5 daughters to anyone who asked. His family grew to include 12 grandchildren and 18 great-grandchildren, each one a part of the legacy he cherished so much.
Bill had a way of leaving a lasting impression wherever he went. Whether through his work, his service, or simply the way he treated people, he lived a life defined by faith, generosity, and genuine care for others.
Though he is no longer with us in body, the love he gave and the example he set will continue to live on in the hearts of all who knew him.
A memorial will be held Saturday, May 30, 2026, 10:00 AM in Bill's honor at Adventure Church, 348 2nd Ave W,
Kalispell, MT. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to Adventure Church Youth Programs or the Montana Veterans Association Foundation, causes that reflect Bill's lifelong commitment to faith and service. Johnson-Gloschat Funeral Home is caring for the family.
