Conley Dell Vaughn
Conley Vaughn Obituary
Born on October 15, 1941, in Ritner, Kentucky, Conley was the son of Minnie and Theo Vaughn, who preceded him in death. In 1957, the Vaughn family relocated to Indianapolis, where Conley would go on to build a full and meaningful life.
Conley is survived by his beloved wife of 64 years, Carole; sons Roy (Lori) and Troy (Thresa); grandchildren Sarah (Brian), Hannah, Casey, and Allison (Noah); and great-granddaughter Lucy.
One of 11 children, Conley is also survived by four brothers: Ronnie (Patty), Frank (Rose), Wayne (Lisa), and Kenney. He was preceded in death by siblings Mary Ellen, Ethel Marie, Glenna Sue, Carlos, Wendell, and Wanda.
Conley retired from General Motors in 1993 and spent his retirement enjoying time with family and friends. He had a deep love for those around him and was known for sharing heartfelt stories of his youth and growing up in Kentucky-memories he cherished and recounted with joy.
There will be no services, and burial will take place in Ritner, KY later this fall.
He will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.
