Joyce Bishop Obituary
She was born on September 30, 1947 in Oak Park, Illinois to Paul and Florence (Baecker) Edwards. Joyce married Mike Bishop on October 24, 1998. She is survived by daughters, Tina Moore (Bryan Moore) of Westport, Indiana and Christine Reeser (Chris Reeser) of Rochester, Indiana. She had six grandchildren that she loved dearly. She was also blessed with ten great-grandchildren. She was preceded in passing by her parents, Paul and Florence Edwards; sister, Lynda Mullinix and husband, Mike Bishop.
She was a graduate of Franklin Community High School and attended ATI Business College.
Joyce was employed by Exit 76 Antique Mall, retiring after twenty years of dedicated service.
She was a member of Kappa Kappa Sigma Sorority.
Joyce loved spending time with her family, shopping, and she had a knack for interior designing and decorating.
A celebration of life service will be held on Thursday, October 9th at 1:00 p.m. at Flinn and Maguire Funeral Home, 2898 North Morton Street, (U.S. 31 North) in Franklin with visitation on Thursday from 11:00 a.m. to time of service. Burial will be at Greenlawn Cemetery in Franklin, Indiana.
In lieu of flowers, please donate to the Johnson County Animal Shelter, 2160 N. Graham Road, Franklin, Indiana 46131. Joyce loved her dog.
