Wilma Johanna Rasdall

Wilma Johanna (Bockes) Rasdall 81 of Indianapolis, IN passed away Sunday September 5, 2021 at Community Hospital South in Indianapolis, IN. She was born July 28, 1940 in Indianapolis, IN to Hans and Lisel (Straub) Bockes. She married Ron G. Rasdall on May 7, 1960 at Calvary Lutheran Church in Indianapolis, IN.

She was a 1958 graduate of Southport High School where she was a varsity cheerleader. She was in Tupperware management for many years. She had also worked for the Indiana Department of Commerce.

Wilma was a faithful member of Mt. Pleasant Christian Church in Greenwood. She was a master gardener, enjoyed fishing, golfing, flowers, and cooking homemade meals, but most of all she loved being Grammy.

She is survived by her husband of 61 years Ron G. Rasdall of Indianapolis, IN, daughter Dawn E. Gottlieb (Sheldon) of Greenwood, IN, son Mark R. Rasdall (Kimberly) of Brown County, IN, four grandchildren Kevin Gottlieb (Erin) of Chicago, IL, Jessica Wilson (Andrew) of Indianapolis, IN, Amanda Srichareon (Michael) of Whiteland, IN and Melinda Rasdall of Indianapolis, IN, a great grandson Ethan Srichareon and sisters Lisele Bockes of Columbus, IN and Margaret Leive of Greenwood, IN.

She was preceded in death by her parents, a sister Rosemary Miner and a brother in law Jim Leive.

Pastor Chris Philbeck will conduct a service on Friday September 10, 2021 at 2PM at Mt. Pleasant Christian Church 381 North Bluff Road in Greenwood, IN where friends may call from 11AM until service time at the church. Burial will be at Mt. Pleasant Cemetery in Greenwood, IN.
