Bill Vandergraph Obituary

FARMINGTON -- Rev. Bill Vandergraph, 78, of Farmington, passed away December 22, 2016, at Missouri Baptist Hospital, surrounded by his family. He was born March 5, 1938, in Cape Girardeau, to the late George and Anna Marie (Sanders) Vandergraph. Bill was in ministry over 40 years, in which he pastored the Flat River Church of God, Cantwell Church of God, Kansas City, Sikeston, Carthage, Cuba, Joplin, and Savanah. He also pastored in Illinois at Shepherds Fold Church of God, Alto Pass at Anna Church of God, and Alto Pass Pentecostal Church. Bill was a member of the Church of God State Council.

He was preceded in death by his parents and one sister, Paula Young.

Bill is survived by his loving wife, Shelba Wardina (Lyerla) Vandergraph; five children, Chris (Cindy) Vandergraph, Tonya Cauble, Scott (Becky) Vandergraph, Linda (Kirt) Groom, and Ryan Vandergraph; fourteen grandchildren; thirty-nine great-grandchildren; five siblings, Carl (Cora Evelyn) Vandergraph, Pat Clutts, Joyce Clayton, Joann Hickam, and Georgia Hagler.

Visitation will be held at House of Praise in Desloge, Monday, December 26, 2016, from 11 a.m. until service time at 1 p.m. Pastor Rick Wade will be officiating. Interment will follow at Parkview Cemetery in Farmington. Memorials may be directed to the House of Praise or Church of God Missions Project.
