Frances Marie Damba
FARMINGTON – Frances Damba, of Farmington, Missouri, died July 18, 2021, at the age of 78, at Presbyterian Manor in Farmington. She was born on the 28th of December, 1942, in Lebanon, Kentucky, the daughter of the late Lawrence and Mary (Johnson) Cozart.
Frances is survived by her sons, Lawrence (Anne) Damba of Harahan, Louisiana, Dr. Dwayne (Dr. Victoria) Damba of Farmington, Missouri and Matthew (Denise) Damba of Lorton, Virginia. She is also survived by grandchildren, Lauren Damba of Harahan, Louisiana, Emily (Brent) Cunningham of Farmington, Hunter (Donna) Link of Mooresville, North, Carolina, Jamie Gray of Jacksonville, Florida and Jason (Ashley) Gray of Jacksonville, Florida. She had three great-grandchildren, Lucy Damba, Brielle and Maverick Link and was looking forward to number four in November.
She was preceded in death by her only sister, Delores (DeeDee) Cozart.
Frances enjoyed spending time with family, watching movies and soap operas. Prior to her time at Presbyterian Manor she loved spending time with her Yorkie "Doc" and making everyone's favorite treat, chocolate covered peanut butter balls. Later she enjoyed learning how to knit. Frances was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church in Farmington and will be remembered for her sweet and kind disposition. She will be greatly missed by her loved ones and all her friends. Donations, if desired, can be made to any military organization, as all of her sons served in the Army and she always looked after those in uniform.
It was Frances' wish that her remains be donated to science and, therefore, no services will be held. Share your condolences at cozeanfuneralhome.com.
