1960-2018 Eleanor Alfreda Tucker Sherman, “Toni”, 57, passed away unexpectedly January 9, 2018. A lifelong Chester County resident, she excelled academically as an honor student and graduated from Downingtown Senior High School in 1978. After high school, Toni continued her education at Howard University, Penn State University and West Chester University and eventually made her home in Coatesville. Toni is survived by her parents Alfred (Reatha) Tucker and Doretha Burch Tucker, one brother, Alfred (Tammy) Nkrumah Tucker of Columbus, Indiana, 3 nieces: Amelia (David) Glowacki, Alyssa Tucker, Zoë Tucker and 1 nephew, Nicholas Tucker. Funeral services will be held at 11 AM on Thursday, January 18, 2018 at Wright Funeral and Cremation Services, Inc., 725 Merchant Street, Coatesville, PA 19320. There will not be a public viewing, however friends may greet the family beginning at 10 AM. Interment will be immediately after the service at Philadelphia Memorial Park, Frazer, PA.
