Jacob R. ‘Jake’ Paulson of West Chester Jacob R. “Jake” Paulson, 75, a longtime resident of West Bradford Township, formerly of Glenolden, Pa., passed away on Thursday, Feb. 26, 2015 at Chester County Hospital with his family at his side. He was the beloved husband of Grace Paulson, with whom he shared 55 years of marriage. Born in Philadelphia, he was the son of the late Walter F. and Hannah Rivell Paulson. In addition to his wife, he is survived by his children, Virginia G. Little (Harry), Pamela J. Barranco, Lance J., and Wendy L. Paulson-Warmijak (Arthur). He is survived by his sister, Adeline Welsh; grandchildren, Joseph, Heather, Hannah, and Chad; and great-grandchildren, William, Joseph and Daisy. Jake was the founder of Paulsonbilt Limited, a family owned and run business, and was still active with the company at the time of his passing. Jake loved his family. He dirt track raced years ago with his brother. He enjoyed watching sports and loved boating and fishing. He raised Haflinger horses and lately he found most joy from being with his family, watching cowboy movies and exchanging stories about his life. A visitation with the family will be held from 2 to 4 p.m. on Saturday, March 7 at the James J. Terry Funeral Home, 736 E. Lancaster Ave., Downingtown. Funeral and interment services will be private.
