Marlene Albrecht Hess

On June 2, 2021 Marlene A. Hess, 62, of Coatesville and Sea Isle City passed away from complications of COVID-19. Beloved wife of Jay M. Hess and loving mother of Justin M. Kane (Jessica) and Sheena M. Thompson (Scott Gannon). Adoring “Gege” of grandchildren J.J., Kieran, Stella and Mackenna. Daughter of the late Marjorie and Jay Albrecht she will be forever missed by her sisters Judith A. Barnes and Sandra A. Tryon and her brothers C. Jay (Valerie) and Bruce E. Albrecht and many nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews. She is also survived by husband Jay’s children whom she loved Taryn (Terry) Sharkey, Trevor (Lauren) Hess, and Taylor (Zac) High and their children Kaylee, Shae and Mason. Marlene brought sunshine into the lives of everyone she knew. A lifelong animal activist she loved her dog Lacey along with all other animals. A self described beach lover, Marlene found happiness and bliss whether on a Caribbean island or her home in Sea Isle City. She favored holidays Christmas and Halloween and loved celebrating them all with family and friends. She will always be remembered for her beautiful smile, unwavering kindness, hospitality and charm. Marlene will be deeply missed by all who knew her. A celebration of life will be held on Sunday, June 6th 3:00 pm at the Thorndale Inn: 430 Bondsville Rd Downingtown Pa, 19355.
