He was predeceased by his parents, his brother Horace and his son Michael. Bill graduated from Kennett High School and attended Goldey Beacom Business School. He served two years in the US Army. He spent most of his working career driving trucks first hauling milk from farms to dairy processing plants and towards the end of his career delivering fire engines from the manufacturer to fire houses all over the country. He was also a member of the Masonic Lodge. Wherever he went and whatever he did he made people happy. He respected and enjoyed everyone. His family and friends will greatly miss him. Bill was a great American. I remember him working on his old pickup truck parked in front of the House in Oak Hill. He had a great laugh and he was always good to Joe and Mike's friends . When my father took us fishing down below the canal we saw Bill driving the truck several times picking up milk at the dairy farms . We had a great conversation the last time I saw him at Mike's funeral. He was a great guy. He had a good life. What more can you say?
