Visitation, Friday, February 16, 2024 from 2 until 4 p.m. at Joe Ford Funeral Home 1616 Winchester Road, 38116 and Saturday February 17, 2024 from 12 until 1 p.m., funeral 1 p.m. at Eureka True Vine Baptist Church 3510 Millbranch Road, 38116.

She leaves to mourn her passing, four daughters, Sharico L. Gardner (James), Chameter Rena Briggs (Kelvin), Domenike LaToyarious Summers, Kristina Danielle Summers, son, James Elliott Walls, five sisters, Eliza Gates, Ruby S. Brown, Annie Allen, Patricia Hubbard (Greg) and Sonya Harrold, five brothers, Johnny Summers (Carolyn), James Summers, Rickey Harrold, Albert Harrold (Shirley) and Allen Harrold (Angela), 21 grandchildren, 22 great-grandchildren, host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends. Preceded in death by, daughter, Chatoya Ontario Hunter, mother, Alberta Harrold, father, Johnny Summers and sister, Alberta Summers.

I am saddened to hear about Sis. Summers passing. She and I were on the praise team for many years at Eureka Truevine Baptist Church; what I will miss the most is her infectious laugh-my condolences to her family and friends.
