Charles Nourse Obituary

Will Nourse, 45, passed away at his home in Bartlett, TN, after a long illness. He was born in Memphis, TN, and was raised by his loving parents, Mark and Donna Dahler. After graduating from Bartlett High School in 1997, he went on to start a painting business which he ran for 10 years. He was inspired to become an EMT and later a paramedic and began a career with the Memphis Fire Department in 2008. This was a source of deep personal pride for him and brought him immense feelings of satisfaction and accomplishment. In 1998, Will met Dena Clark and they later married. In 2000, they celebrated the birth of their daughter Madison Claire, and have now welcomed two grandchildren, Abel and Jonah. Will is survived by his daughter, Madison and her mother Dena, his parents Mark and Donna, his sister Rebecca, and his grandsons Abel and Jonah. He also leaves behind many aunts, uncles, cousins, colleagues, and friends. Will was kind, generous, and had a great sense of humor. He had a love for animals and would always lend an ear for those that needed a friend. He is loved deeply by many and will be greatly missed. A memorial service for Will will be held on November 6, 2024 at 3:00pm in the Riverside Chapel. Visitation will begin an hour prior to the service starting at 2:00pm.

I met my wife while working for you. I still make money painting on side jobs. Paul and yourself were about as patient as one could be with hiring a non painter to paint. That opportunity propelled me in many directions I never thought possible. You did not know that you were part of that for me. You were a solid boss and a friend. Thank you for putting up with me. Rest well. To your family, my deepest condolences. Praying for comfort and strength.

Will, I´m at a loss for words. I always considered you a friend. I loved the joking back and forth when you were on unit 7 and I was on unit 24. Rest easy brother. Your pain is over, and we got your watch.
Eternal rest grant unto him, O Lord,
and let Your perpetual light shine upon him.
May his soul and the souls of all the faithful departed
rest in peace.

Amen.
