Charles Tegethoff Obituary

Charles Francis Tegethoff Jr., 78, of Olive Branch MS, went to be with the Lord on January 11, 2025 after a long battle with Parkinson's disease. He was surrounded by his family who loved him very dearly. Charles graduated from Catholic High School in Memphis TN. Charles was a route salesman for Frito Lay for 23 years, he was a dedicated employee. He was an avid hunter and enjoyed the outdoors. He had a wonderful sense of humor and was loved by many. Charles was preceded in death by his parents Donna and Charles Tegethoff, Sr. He is survived by his loving wife of 53 years Martha McLain Tegethoff, 2 daughters, Lisa Douglas (Greg), and Shelly Heard, and a son, Todd Tegetheff (Angela). He also leaves behind 11 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren, as well as his sister Elayne Snipes. Charles was beloved by many people, his family most of all. He was always there for us and we will miss him more than we can express. Chip as we knew him growing up was a neighbor of mine on Vaughn Road. I am saddened by this announcement. I hadn´t seen Chip in many many years, but was thinking about him a couple weeks ago. I send my condolences to his whole family..
