Charles Vaughan Obituary
He was born on May 20, 1951 to the late Charles and Fairest Vaughan in Nashville, TN. Charles, known to everyone as "Iron King," was a welder for over 30 years. He owned and operated his business Iron King.
His parents, Charles and Fairest Vaughan preceded him in death. Iron King leaves behind three brothers, William O. Vaughan (Tammi), James S. Vaughan (Adira Amaya), and David H. Vaughan (Julie). He also leaves behind a host of nieces, nephews, and friends who will miss him dearly.
Family will receive friends on Monday, February 5, 2024 from 5:00 pm to 8:00 pm at Brantley Funeral Home, 6875 Cockrum St. Olive Branch, MS. A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, February 6, 2024 at 10:00 am at Brantley Funeral Home. Burial will follow at Emory Church Cemetery in Byhalia, MS.

I had the immense pleasure of having Charlie as a father figure for over 10 years. He was mine and my brother´s stepfather from 2002- around 2013. Charlie was one of the best men I have ever known. He would keep you laughing, and always had the most positive outlook on life. The house could be on fire, and he would be making jokes as he was putting the flames out. He was incredibly smart and creative, and he poured his heart and soul into his iron business. He also poured his heart into our family. I never felt anything but loved and supported by him. If I ever needed or wanted anything, most of the time he would make it happen. "Let me know it" as he would say. The memories I have of him are endless, and most of them leave me laughing. I have always loved him so much, as I know how much he loved me. My father passed away in 2007, and Charlie was the very best substitute that God could have given me. I´ll miss him so much, and I´m so thankful that I had the opportunity to be apart of his world for so many years. He was truly such a beautiful soul.
