Daniel Gooch Obituary

Daniel Sidney Gooch passed away on Wednesday, September 10, 2025, just two days shy of his 93rd birthday. Sid was born on September 12, 1932 in Double Bridges, TN. He is the son of the late Sidney and Kathleen (Tull) Gooch.

He was preceded in death by his wife of 67 years, Lou Gooch.

Sid is survived by two daughters Cindy Armstrong and Lisa Stubblefield; two sons Todd Armstrong (Cindy) and Craig Stubblefield (Lisa); grandchildren Hyatt Stubblefield, Baylee and Jacob Street, Alex Armstrong and fiancé, Leighton Sistrunk, Kennedy Stubblefield and one great grandson, Tate Street. Sid also leaves behind a whole host of people he has loved as his own throughout his 92 years.

He is also preceded in death by his sister, Ouida Gooch Belton and brothers Doug and Joe Gooch.

Visitation for Sid will be held at 10:00 a.m. Germantown Church of Christ, 8723 Poplar Pike on Saturday, September 20, 2025 followed by a memorial service at 11:00 a.m.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the Germantown Church of Christ Missionary Fund.
