Geraldine Taylor Obituary
She professed a hope in Christ at an early age. Geraldine was an active member of Thomas Chapel Missionary Baptist Church. She served as a faithful and dedicated Usher at her church for 33 years.
Geraldine was married to the love of her life Nathaniel ''Little Jack" Taylor for 56 years.
Geraldine peacefully departed this earthly life on Sunday, April 13, 2025 at her residence surrounded by her family. She was preceded in death by her husband Nathaniel; a son, Wayne "Johnny" Warner Sr.; a daughter Terri Jones; one daughter-in-law, June Warner; parents, Ollie and Lucille Warner; three brothers, Ovell Warner, Robert Warner and Will Ollie Warner; one sister, Mattie Hall; and grand-daughter, Jazmine Jones.
She leaves to cherish her memories, three sons, Ricky Taylor (Terry), Billy Taylor (Amanda), and Michael Taylor; one daughter, Minnie Taylor; her only living sister Louise Todd; and a host of grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.
Viewing Thursday, April 17, 2025 at 10:00 a.m. at Thomas Chapel M.B. Church, 2970 Highway 194, Rossville, TN 38066. Funeral service will begin at 11:00 a.m.
Interment Thursday, April 24, 2025 at 10:00 a.m. at West Tennessee State Veterans Cemetery, 4000 Forest Hill-Irene Road, Memphis, TN 38125. Pastor Louis Davis, officiating.
