Harold Stark Obituary

Harold Loyd Stark, 90, passed away Wednesday, May 17, 2023, at Baptist Memorial Hospital in Southaven, MS.

He was born in Ripley, MS on March 9, 1933, to the parents John and Lessie Stark. After graduating high school, Harold began working for Time DC and Consolidated Freightways where he worked until he retired. He married the love of his life Marjorie Elaine Stark on August 3, 1951, where they shared 71 wonderful years together. Some of Harold's interests included golfing, fishing, watching the Memphis Grizzlies play basketball, and spending as much time as he could with his grandchildren.

Harold is survived by his wife Marjorie Elaine Stark, his children: Kathy Bacon (Johnny), Debbie Fahy, and Michael Stark, 10 grandchildren: Brad Keightley (Jana), Kim Black (Phil), Kelly Kizer (Jason), Kim Fields (Kevin), Drew Bacon (Heather), Alexa Fahy, Heather McCracken, Jason Sidle (Lauren), Autumn Julian (Braden), and Alyssa Stark, 21 great grandchildren, as well as a host of cousins and other relatives. He is preceded in death by his sisters: Carol Martin and Joann Duncan, as well as his brother Ed Stark.

Harold was such a wonderful man. He will forever be in our hearts, and we will miss him dearly.
