Joseph Daniel Underhill

Joseph Daniel Underhill, 84, of Memphis, TN passed away surrounded by love on Thursday, June 5, 2025. He was born in Sikeston, Missouri on December 29, 1940, to parents Evart and Martha Underhill. Joseph was loved by all that knew him. He loved his family and friends dearly and was always there to lend a helping hand whenever he could. Joseph worked in the restaurant business up until his retirement. He married the love of his life Shirley 64 years ago and from that union 4 beautiful children were created. Joseph is preceded in death by his parents, 6 sisters, 4 brothers, and 1 grandchild. He leaves behind to cherish his memory, his loving wife Shirley, his children: Shirlen (Billy), Linda, Joey (Leslee), and Curtis (Andrea), his brother Tom, as well as 33 grand, great grand, and great-great grandchildren. He was beyond proud to be called "Pa" by each of them! Joseph will forever be in our hearts, and we will miss him more than words can express. Psalm 23 The Lord is my shepherd; I shall not want.
