Robert Moreland Obituary
He was born February 2, 1955 in Mckenzie, TN to Rev. James and Eva Moreland. Robert graduated from Fulton County High School in Hickman, KY. Robert, a dedicated building superintendent at Linkous Construction Company, found joy in various pursuits. His passion for upland bird hunting and training dogs led him to develop lifelong friendships with many people.
Robert was preceded in death by his parents, Rev. James and Eva Moreland. He leaves behind his loving wife of 40 years, Gail Hickerson Pratt Moreland; his daughter, Angela Gail Pratt Bilodeau (Aaron Smith); three siblings, Carla Sue Wolberton (Cecil), Paul Moreland (Teresa), Randy Moreland (Ann St. John); sister-in-law, Trudy Satterfield (J.D.), and his brother-in-law, Bruce Hickerson (Kathy). Robert also leaves behind his grandson who was his pride and joy, Kyle Allen Bilodeau.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, May 25, 2024 at 11:00 am with visitation beginning at 9:00 am at Faith Lutheran Church, 507 New Byhalia Rd. Collierville, TN 38017.
In lieu of flowers the family request memorial contributions be made in Mr. Robert Allen Moreland's memory to Wounded Warrior Project, P.O. Box 758516 Topeka, Kansas, 66675 or Christ the King Lutheran School ""Checks payable to: Christ the King Lutheran School"", 5296 Park Avenue Memphis, TN 38119.
