Chase CASON Obituary
His maternal grandfather, Harry D. Jones Sr., and his brother, Bryce preceded him in death.
Chase's life would seem too short to many, but those who were touched by him understood that the quality of existence far exceeds the quantity of time in which one lives.
On Aug. 7, 2010, a day before Chase's first birthday, he was dedicated to the Lord at New Hope Baptist Church by his Pastor, Dr. Christopher Carter.
Chase leaves to celebrate his life his big brother, Branden; grandparents, Ruby Jones and Terry and Velma Cason Sr.; great-grandmother, Rosetta Deloatch; a loving aunt, Felicia Cason; uncles, Lamar Jones and Harry Jones Jr. (Tina); cousins, Cheyanne, Angel, Harry III, and Caesar; godparents, Marco and LaMeka Harrison; godmothers, Michelle Boston and Terry Farmer; and a host of aunts, uncles and cousins.
Services for Chase will be held at noon on Tuesday, Feb. 14, 2012, at New Hope Baptist Church, 1415 Big Bethel Road, by Dr. Christopher C. Carter, Senior Pastor. Interment will follow in Parklawn Memorial Park. Viewing for Chase, will be held from noon to 4 p.m. Monday, Feb. 13, at C.C. Carter Funeral Home, 3314 Roanoke Ave., Newport News, Va. The family will receive friends from 5 to 6 p.m. at New Hope Baptist Church, 1415 Big Bethel Road.

I know this is a difficult time for you and your family. The passing of a loved one is never easy and it being your child has to be particularly hard.
