My cousin, Ernie, was a part of my life even before I was born. When my mom, his Aunt Elsie, was pregnant with me, he and my brothers, Joe and Charlie, used to walk her to catch the bus so that she wouldn't fall on the ice. And, when I was born, Ernie brought the first gift - a case of formula - because he knew my mom didn't have much money. I have many memories of Ernie as I grew up. He was always kind, generous and full of life. Once Mom and I came home to find a small cabin in our backyard with shiny new siding, Ernie and the boys long gone without even a word, ... just a sweet gift from a loving nephew and cousin.
I loved to watch his eyes twinkle when he told his stories and hear his laugh. When I saw Ernie this past Sunday and sat there in the hospital holding his hand, I thought of the young boy he once was playing with my brothers and knew that soon they would be together again in Heaven telling each other stories of the adventures since they were last together.
I will remember Jane, Lewis, Sharon, Sandy and Jr. in my prayers. Always remember the world was a better place because of him.
Love,
Natalie

We shall miss a dear friend who didn't mind going to be with the Lord. his faith should be an inspiration to the family and friends. Having prayer with him in the hospital was a joy.
