Joe HAMILTON Obituary

LORIS, S.C. - Joe Hunter Hamilton, 81, of Loris, S.C., died Friday, July 16, 2010, at Grand Strand Regional Medical Center.
Mr. Hamilton was born in Bluestone, W.Va., a son of the late Kyle Etchison and Nellie Virginia Bryant Hamilton. He was a member of Conway Church of God. He was a U.S. Navy veteran of the Korean Conflict. He was a retired railroad inspector for CSX and retired railroad inspector for the federal government. Mr. Hamilton was a former member of the Parkview Church of God in Newport News.
He was preceded in death by one sister, Doris H. Sims; two brothers, William and Rhea Hamilton; and one grandson, James Andrew Mulkey.
Survivors include his wife of 20 years, Velma Todd Hamilton of Loris; two daughters, Linda Arena and husband, Aldo of Hampton, and Lanelle Mulkey and husband, Jim of Maynardville, Tenn.; three grandchildren, Tony Arena, Michael Arena and Todd Mulkey; one sister, Betty Odell of Hampton.
The family will receive friends from 5:30 to 7 p.m. Tuesday, July 20, at Parkview Church of God, with funeral services starting at 7 p.m., with the Rev. David Hagee officiating. A graveside service will take place at 11 a.m. on Wednesday, July 21, 2010, in Peninsula Memorial Park.

I am so sorry to hear about Joe. His race is done here and now he is in Heaven watching over you Velma. I met Joe at Parkview Church of God in the 80's.
