John Berta was my uncle. He was a good man. Uncle John had a high level of intelligience. Because he lived a good distance from us we were not able to spend as much time as I would have liked together. However, the time we did spend will be cherished. He will be missed.

He was a wonderful example of what a father should be. My sisters and I were always guided by his voice of reason and we will forever be wrapped in the warmth of his love.

He will live in our hearts forever.
