Beth, Shannon and Brent,
My deepest sympathy for your loss. I truly enjoyed working for (and with) John. He always acknowledged our wedding anniversary by asking if Jerry was still hanging in there :) It meant so much to me that he did remember. My thoughts and prayers are with you.

I am so sorry to hear this. I have great memories of working with John back in B1202. He always gave credit to others and he was so very wise. He was very passionate about his work and widely respected. Such a sad loss....

John has a deep and abiding impact on all of us who worked with him- a great teacher and mentor. He challenged us to be better, to do better- I still use his test for understanding a problem: "what is the worst thing that could happen" and "what are you going to do when it does (happen)?" When John praised us, we knew we had earned it. We will miss him greatly.

John Fedors was a class act. I had the privilege of working with him at NASA on numerous flight projects. As a neophyte line manager, I was so fortunate to have someone like John school me in aspects of project management that have served me well throughout my career. He was patient, firm and direct. John wanted the mission to succeed and for all of the people involved to succeed as well. He mentored many members of my former branch and his NASA legacy lives on in their activities. I only wish he had had more time to enjoy the house on the river and his friends and family. My prayers and condolences to all of you.

As a classmate of John, at New Kent High School, I remember him as having a keen mine and great sense of humor. It was no surprise that he had a successful and contributing career. I am saddened to learn of his passing and he will be specially missed by his classmates.

It was always a joy to see John when he visited Ace Hardware, we always joked that it was lunch time when he came in. He is now at peace, no pain and suffering. You are in my thoughts and prayers.

I am so sorry to hear of John's passing. I had the pleasure of working under John when I was an apprentice at NASA and he was the Project Manager for a shuttle instrument. John was "man enough" to admit when he was wrong and I had great respect and admiration for him for that. He was a leader who wasn't afraid to make decisions. He will be missed by those of us here at NASA who remember working with him.
Respectfully,
