Dear Nelson, I never got to meet Lee, but I could tell in your voice when you spoke of him, Lee was your pride and joy. I was on the beach that day. I'm a mother of two boys myself. Don't know if it's wrong to post since I don't know his family. But I'm so very sorry for the loss. I think about him often,and he will forever be in my heart. My deepest prayers go to his family. Terrie L. Nash

Dear Nelson, I was deeply saddened by the news of Lee's untimely death. I can tell that he was a special young man. Very determined to achieve whatever he set his mind to ---like his father! I know this is a sorrowful time for you and all of Lee's family and friends. What a tremendous loss. Our thoughts and prayers are with you, that you will find the strength and courage to carry on. Lee and our son Ben went to Jr. High and High School together. Lee was a regular fixture at our house and brought us many moments of laughter. He'll always remain "Lil Lee" in my heart. Nelson, my heart goes out to you and all your family. God Bless!

I am so sorry that you have lost someone who was just in the beginning of his own "family life". My brother died at 24 and my family still talks about him as if he were still amongst us......keep Lee alive by sharing your memories with others. (I don't know your family but I was very moved by the obituary and feel your pain.)

May God give each and every one of Lee's family and friends strength to get through their pain and sorrow....I met Lee through my son, Mark, and his girlfriend, Lauren and he was a joy to be around and a fine young man...Even though he is no longer here physically he will live on in everyone's heart and memory...

My thoughts and prayers are with Olivia, Chelsea and her family and Jean Brackins and her family along with Lee's father. I had the pleasure of meeting Lee on several occasions while working with Jean and he was such a bright young man. The one thing I knew for sure about Lee was that he loved to surf. I'm sure he will be missed by many. God Bless all of you.
