Peter CRISCUOLO Obituary
Pete retired as an insurance agent and was owner of The Flag Center of Virginia in Yorktown.
Pete was the son of the late Gabriel and Violet Criscuolo of Derby, Conn.
He is survived by four brothers, Donald and his wife, Marianne of Delaware, Richard and his wife, Donna of Connecticut, Dennis and his wife, Maureen of Tennessee, and Gary and his wife, Arlene of Connecticut; aunt, Carol Criscuolo of Connecticut; companion, Joanne Kelly of Yorktown; and a host of nieces of nephews.
A memorial service will be held at a later date.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to York County Fire & Rescue/ Life & Safety, P. O. Box 532, Yorktown, VA 23692. View and post condolences on our online guestbook at dailypress.com/guestbooks.

God saw you were getting tired and a cure was not to be, so he put his arms around you and whispered, "come to me."
With tearful eyes we watched you, and saw you pass away. Although we loved you dearly, we could not make you stay. A golden heart stopped beating, hard working hands at rest. God broke our hearts to prove to us, he only takes the best.

I was devastated when I heard the news this morning. I met Pete 10 years ago, just before 9/11, when I first started working with the school division. I enjoyed every visit to the store, we always had great talks when I went in. He was so helpful over the years, and I was lucky to have him as a friend. He was thrilled to learn my daughter was heading to the Navy, and told me how much I would love Monterey. I will think of him when I visit this fall. Sending my deepest condolences to his family. I know he will be missed.

My prayers go out to all of Peter's family and close friends. Peter will be missed by many people, as he touched so many lives in his short time with us. I will always remember growing up back in the early 70's and having Peter as our next door neighbor, where I use to cut his grass when I was just 13 years old.
