To Jonathan and Caroline, I was saddened and shocked to hear of the passing of your father Bob, it just broke my heart. I began seeing Bob at the Lutheran Church where I donated blood and began looking forward to hearing all the updates and milestones of his grandson and their "dates" to reading groups and such. There was no mistaking the love he had for that little guy and his whole face and heart would light up each time he'd talk of him. I also enjoyed hearing about the neighborhood walking group he joined. I hope you know how I loved your mom through the years and how hard it was for me to leave her care, seeing Bob from time to time allowed me to continue that connection. Both your parents are forever remembered and held fondly in my heart. My deepest condolences to you both.

To the Krause Children,
I am sadden to hear of the passing of your father. Your father was one of my supervisors at Langley AFB and later on a coworker and friend. I could always count on receiving a Christmas card filled with pictures of the family and an update on what was going on in your lives. Bob Krause was a caring person who also had a smile. There are so many memories I have of the times while working at Langley. When your mother was not receiving treatment she made cheesecakes for my family at Thanksgiving. May your memories bring you comfort during the days to come and God give you peace.

My condolences to Bob as his family. I worked with Bob and must say he always had a commanding presence. I will always remember him.
