Dear Sister Richardson and loved ones,
Arthur and I offer our deepest condolences in the passing of our friend and coheart Simon. He will always be remembered for his spirit and willingness to get things done. I will never forget the hospitality that Simon and you offered to us (the Co-hearts) on that October when we gathered in your home. Thank you.
We pray God's choice blessings of comfort, strength and peace upon you and all persons affected by this loss, in Jesus' name by the power of the of the Holy Spirit as it is written in God's word that blessed are those who mourn for they shall be comforted. Amen.

Tina and Rickey, Simon was one-of-a-kind. Having lived across the street from you for 14 years, i got a chance to see the real man and all I can say is if I had to desribe Simon in one word, it would be "genuine". He was a "for real" man in his love for God, the church and the two of you. Funny I never heard him preach from the pulpit until 6 months ago, but i saw him deliver sermons in his every day walk. We didn't talk on a regular basis, but when we did, we always enjoyed and respected each other. If you didn't want to know what he thought, don't ask him because he was going to tell you just what he thought.

I was a John Marshall Elementary and high school friend of Simon's. I had not seen him for years, but was told of his ministry. I remember Simon being raised by his mother who taught him to be respectful, intelligent, impeccably dressed, kind and caring amid other standards. He was that and more.
It was discomforting to learn of the passing of such a great man of God, husband, father and loved one. I pray that your grief will be eased by the legacy and memories of Simon's life.

Simon Richardson was a very honorable, kind, generous, and loving Man of God. He was a mentor for me and my sons. Whenever I needed a letter of reference or recommendation on behalf of me and my sons, he was PROUD to have been asked.
My heart is just broken right now. God has called yet another AWESOME soldier home.
His presence and gifts will be missed daily.
