Clif.....Tom was a neighbor of Shirlee Ziolkowski Boyd. We all lived on Outer Drive/Packard Streets. I was wondering if there was an Army connection?

"A job well done" (dobrze wykonana praca), your contemporaries might have said, and we agree. Rest in peace, fine 'Blue Spader'! The country needed you, and you gave your best!

Tom has been a stalwart champion of the Coalition of Salute America's Heroes for many years, and a long time dear friend of mine. He was a Vietnam veteran who earned a purple heart. He felt great empathy for the people we serve wounded veterans from Afghanistan and Iraq. On the Board, he was known for asking the tough questions and providing sound advice. The prophet Isaiah said, Those who walk uprightly enter into peace; they find rest as they lie in death. Tom walked uprightly and brought integrity of purpose to everything he did. He was a good man and a good friend of ours. He will be missed. Our hearts go out to Carol and his entire family.

Tom was a good friend, a terrific neighbor, and a genuine good guy. Tom and I were both fraternity brothers of Sigma Alpha Epsilon, though we were affiliated with different universities. We spent a lot of time together over the last ten years as we worked-out at the local Y and spent much time debating everything from politics to policy. We served on the Y Board together and looked out for each other in the neighborhood. I will miss him in so many ways that I can't list them. He lived a good life serving his country and serving others through his career and volunteerism. We are all the richer from knowing this man. RIP.

I am so heart broken to hear this. You and Tom were so kind when my Dad died. I am glad I got to see y'all this summer at the reunion. I hope Tom and my Dad are sharing a glass of Scotch right now. Much love and prayers for comfort in the days ahead.

Becky and I send our regrets. I will never forget Sailing with Tom, working on some computer stuff and DIY projects, and sipping some wine (sometimes a lot). There aren't too many people you can argue politics and religion with and still be friends. Tom was one. We disagreed about almost everything, but we both loved our families, our country, and believed we needed to do our best by them. May Tom rest in peace and may God bless his family.

I was married to Tom for 20 years. We had two children, Christie and Michael who have grown to be people who we can be very proud of. We also have five grandchildren, Megan, Allison, Jack, Dawson, and Emma, who we are equally proud of. Divorce breaks up the family, but Tom and I have managed to stay friends. I have always had the upmost respect for his accomplishments. May he Rest In Peace!
