Benjamin Roy Flint Sr.

Benjamin Roy Flint Sr. Benjamin Roy Flint Sr., 68, of Rhoadesviile, died on Thursday, October 31, 2013, at the Mary Washington Hospital in Fredricksburg. Born on February 3, 1945, in Vancouver Washington, he was the son of the late Ernest Arthur and Mildred Randall Flint. Mr. Flint was a retired police officer and member of the Orange Assembly of God Church. He is survived by his wife, Mollie E. Flint of Rhoadesville; daughter, Kristen Plaugher and husband, Michael, of Woodbridge; sons, Benjamin "Ben" R. Flint Jr. and wife, Nicole, of Rhoadesville, and Michael R. Flint and wife, Doreea, of Spotsylvania; grandchildren, Ashlyn, Michael, and Kailyn Plaugher, and Kaeli Flint; brother, Joseph F. Flint; and a sister, Betty Ruth Flint. A funeral service was held 11 a.m. Tuesday, November 5, 2013, at the Orange Assembly of God Church with interment at 1 p.m. at the Culpeper National Cemetery. Pastor Greg Vogt officiated. The family received friends at the Preddy Funeral Home, 250 West Main Street, Orange, on Monday evening, November 4, 2013, from 6 until 7 p.m. The family has requested that in lieu of flowers, memorial contributions be made in his name to the Orange Assembly of God Church, P.O. Box 205, Orange, VA 22960. Preddy Funeral Home of Orange, assisted the family.
