Jennifer Wright Case of Charlottesville and Virginia Beach, passed away on October 27, 2018, from complications due to stroke at the age of 52. Jenni passed surrounded by family and friends, who will miss her dearly. She was born in Puerto Rico to LaRue Wright and the late LCDR Ralph Wright. After graduating from Norfolk Catholic High School and the University of Virginia, she lived in Texas, England, Centreville, Virginia, and Charlottesville, Virginia. She was a free spirit who put her entire being into everything she did, especially her children. Those close to her will miss hearing her singing along to whatever music she could hear. Jenni was known by all around her as a caring mother and passionate worker. Always willing to volunteer her time, Jenni served as Vice President then President of the PTA during her time in Centreville and later in life participated in CLAW, a Charlottesville-area charity which raises money for women. During her life she worked as a teacher, administrator, caterer, and hotel concierge. She enjoyed participating in local politics and volunteering in the democratic process. Jenni is survived by her mother, LaRue Wright; her four sons, Andrew, Mackenzie, Jesse, and Jack; their father, Robert Case; her sisters and their spouses, LaRue and Archibald Allen, Denice and John Maphis, Diana and Dane Vickers, and Claudia and David Liebig; numerous nieces, nephews, aunts and uncles. Her quick wit, caring nature and enormous heart, will be missed by all. The family would like to thank her medical team, especially Dr. Jennifer Quilter and her priest, Father Win Lewis for the love and care they demonstrated over the last 5 months of Jenni's life. Family and friends are welcomed to celebrate Jenni's life at a memorial service on Saturday, November 3, 2018, 1:30 p.m. at Christ and St. Luke's Episcopal Church, 560 West Olney Rd, Norfolk, VA 23507.
