Christopher Frazier Obituary
He was born April 21, 1984, in Charlottesville. Chris was an avid hunter and fisherman. He enjoyed life to the fullest. You could always find Chris on a mountain, dirt road, or hanging out with his friends enjoying life and listening to bluegrass music. He always had a smile on his face and met few strangers. Chris was loved and will be missed by many.
He is preceded in death by his grandfather, Leland Frazier.
He is survived by his parents, James and Jeanie Frazier; two sisters, Jamie Frazier and Krystal and her husband, Toney Dudley; and a very special niece, Mackenzie; a very special girlfriend, Sheena Critzer whom he loved dearly; and her family, A.W., Roxanne, and Shellie. He is also survived by his maternal grandparents, Genevieve and James White; his paternal grandmother, Lillian Frazier; a host of aunts and uncles, Jackie Shifflett and her husband, Linwood and Kim Walton and her fiancé, Wayne Winston, David and Teresa Frazier, Freddie and Leslie Frazier, Minor Frazier, Irvin Frazier and Louise "Bootie" Frazier; also a very special aunt, Lucille Norvell and her husband, Sonny. That was his home away from home. Also a great-uncle, James "uncle bibs" that Chris thought the world of. He is also survived by many other great-aunts, great-uncles, and many cousins.
Chris had many friends that he loved to be around all of the time. Chris will always be in our hearts and he will be missed by many.
We would like to extend many thanks to our neighbors and friends for keeping us in your thoughts and prayers. A special thanks to Clyde Shifflett and family, and also to Willie and Danny Ratson and family.
Family night will be held from 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday, September 19, 2006, at Teague Funeral Home on Ivy Road.
The funeral will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday, September 20, 2006, at Prize Hill Church in Boonesville. Graveside following.

Chris was my best friend, he was always there for me to lend a helping hand, I will never forget all the memories we shared together geting on the bus,puting up a fence for my pups in the winter and just hanging out at my house and at Aunt Lucille'laughing and makeing jokes.Chris I will never foget you.You will always be in my heart, I will miss seeing you ride up the rode waveing and haveing that big smile on your face.You will always be rememberd. I want you all to know that I love you all very much and as much as I am hurt Chris not being here, I remember all the good times that we shared together and all the trouble we would get into on the farm and just how much fun it was to be young. I am so sorry about Chris and this accident that has cut short his life on earth. God must have had a much bigger and better plan for him. He is most surely in a wonderful place.
I remember him as a child when I worked at Crozet School. I loved to talk to him and see that most special smile. His whole face lit up.

but first of all, to let you know, that I arrived okay.
I'm writing this from heaven. Here I dwell with God above.
Here, there's no more tears of sadness; here is just eternal love.

And foremost on the list, was to watch and care for you.

When you think of my life on earth, and all those loving years
because you are only human, they are bound to bring you tears.
But do not be afraid to cry; it does relieve the pain.
Remember there would be no flowers, unless there was some rain.
I wish that I could tell you all that God has planned.
But if I were to tell you, you wouldn't understand.
But one thing is for certain, though my life on earth is o'er.
I'm closer to you now, than I ever was before.
There are many rocky roads ahead of you and many hills to climb;
but together we can do it by taking one day at a time.
It was always my philosophy and I'd like it for you too...
that as you give unto the world, the world will give to you.
If you can help somebody who's in sorrow and pain,
then you can say to God at night......"My day was not in vain."
And now I am contented....that my life has been worthwhile,
knowing as I passed along the way, I made somebody smile.
So if you meet somebody who is sad and feeling low,
just lend a hand to pick him up, as on your way you go.
When you're walking down the street, and you've got me on your mind;
I'm walking in your footsteps only half a step behind.
And when it's time for you to go.... from that body to be free,

It is soo hard to believe that just last summer, I was watching my Uncle Eddie, My husband Shannon and Chris play horseshoes. I like to sit back and remember the good times that we all had together. Just sitting around with Chris and Sheena, at Uncle Eddie and Aunt Julie's house was soo much fun. Chris was such a lovable person whom seemed to light up the room when he walked in, he always had a grin on his face that could make anyone smile. And he shined. I guess the one thing that I could say about Chris is that when you met him you knew what the true meaning of "Country Boy" meant!!!! I am so sorry to hear about the loss of Chris. I met Chris when we rode the school bus togethor. He was in middle school and I was in high school. We were instant friends and stayed that way up until we lost contact after I graduated, but I never forgot him. He was a joy to be around. I will truly miss him and always love him.
